Passionate followers of the pop star are demanding that a man who leaped a barrier and seized the actress during the recent Wicked: For Good debut be taken into custody or deported from Singapore.

A circulating clip depicts the Australian man pushing past photographers and lunging at Grande while the actors proceeded down a event pathway flanked by fans.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo immediately guided the stunned performer away from Mr Wen, who was observed being removed of the gathering by guards.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "let go after being taken in", though official papers indicated that he was set to attend court on the following morning. It is uncertain if he was formally accused.

Pattern of Event Invasions

This is not an isolated incident for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Troll Most Hated", has invaded a concert or event. His Instagram feed contains clips of him interrupting other star-studded functions, including rushing the platform at the pop singer's Sydney show in June this year and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers concert in the area last winter.

"Steps should be implemented enforced against him as this is clearly a criminal offence," stated an Instagram user, in a message to a video Mr Wen posted of his behavior.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" one Instagram user remarked.

Supporters Express Concern Over Grande's Well-being

Several fans criticized Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had discussed experiencing PTSD after a devastating incident at the conclusion of her May 2017 concert in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and injuring numerous individuals.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" commented another response on Instagram.

A number of supporters also criticised event staff at the Thursday event for not being adequately prepared; while some called for online networks to block Mr Wen's uploads.

Aftermath and Event Details

In footage shared widely, Grande appeared shocked when she was touched by the intruder. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen consoling her while Mr Wen was led out by guards.

Grande has not commented on the event, and the premiere activities proceeded as normal.

Many of fans had gathered in a mass of emerald and rose at the Wicked: For Good regional premiere in a Singapore mall, including several who had waited for as long as a significant duration before it commenced.

The motion picture, to be launched on November 21, is the follow-up of a two-film version of the acclaimed Broadway and West End production Wicked, which centers on the unexpected friendship between two contrasting sorceresses.

The show itself is a spin-off of the classic book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who plays the good witch Glinda, was dressed in a light pink sparkling outfit at the gathering while Erivo, who portrays the villainous character, wore a sleek black dress decorated with roses.

They were joined by co-star Jeff Goldblum.

The previous installment, Wicked, was the highest-grossing motion picture of 2024 in the UK, and earned a dozen award recognitions, winning two for best costume and set decoration.
