Los Angeles experienced citywide festivities after the Los Angeles Dodgers clinched a nail-biting seven-game World Series championship. Supporters across the globe joined Angelenos in jubilation, marking the first time in 25 years that a franchise has secured consecutive championships.
Victory Parade Draws Enormous Crowds
Los Angeles area celebrations included a procession through the city center on Monday morning, a ticketed rally at the team's home stadium, and impromptu gatherings across the city.
Online footage show countless of Angelenos packing downtown streets, many displaying handmade banners and Dodger flags. The team was seen traveling proudly on a double-decker bus through the crowds, raising the Commissioner’s trophy proudly.
