The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Dies in a California Traffic Collision

The visionary game developer, the mind behind the immensely successful first-person shooter Call of Duty, has tragically died in a car accident in the state of California at the age of 55.

Zampella's death was verified by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the video game company he co-founded.

The celebrated video game developer lost his life when his automobile collided and burst into flames on a motorway in the Los Angeles area on Sunday, US media outlets report.

"This represents a heartbreaking loss, and our hearts are with Vince's loved ones, his loved ones, and all those touched by his work," a spokesperson for Electronic Arts stated.
