Your Perfect Pocket Monster Legends: Z-A Super Form Based on the Astrological Sign

The comeback of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has ignited immense excitement within the community. From the gradual unveiling of newcomers before the title's launch, to players forming firm opinions on the entire roster of Mega Evolutions, there's a lot for fans to anticipate.

Given many of the Super Forms boasting distinctive designs that emphasize their personalities, one idea came to mind: How can link this with zodiac signs? This list is based on a mix of intuition, common zodiac traits, and personal experience.

The Ram – Super Camerupt

Honestly, Houndoom was almost chosen for Aries, as they are the Super Form and zodiac symbol that inspire the most fear. But, a Mega Houndoom comes across as always furious, which doesn't match the Ram's energy, known for being fun, cheerful, and impulsive. This makes Aries far more akin to Super Camerupt, which only erupts when provoked. Stay on the friendly side of either and enjoy a strong ally; should you offend them, prepare to get burned.

Taurus – Mega Heracross

Much like a loyal Bull, the reliable Heracross, whether in its regular and Mega form, has assisted many trainers in Legends: Z-A. While trustworthy, both the creature and a Bull are still battle-oriented, and – be it their companion or a strong opinion – will defend their position to the end. The thing about Super Heracross that recalls most of my Taurus friends, though, is its unashamed passion for treats. Many past Pokédex entries mention their craving for tasty tree sap and how it employs its appendage to collect it everything, which is true Bull-sign vibe.

The Twins – Super Medicham

Look at this absolute queen. It's impossible to convince me this Pokémon is not the life of every party, providing an constant stream of chatter to those who wants to listen. Much like an enrapturing, sociable Gemini, it's incredibly simple to imagine Super Medicham captivating an entire open area with their stories. This Pokémon's Pokédex entry also mentions its capacity to predict an enemy’s future actions, which seems very like a people-smart Twins.

Cancer – Super Manectric

Cancer is widely regarded as the most sensitive sign of the zodiac, a passionate sign known for frequently becoming absorbed in their emotions. Per the Pokédex, Super Evolution fills the creature with a “huge quantity of energy, but it's too much for this Pokémon to fully manage,” which sounds a lot like a classic Cancer crash-out. This Pokémon is also known for its capability to create a storm cloud over its very head – and if there’s a single trait a Crab is going to do, it’s spoil their own parade.

The Lion – Mega Starmie

Well, did you assume I was planning to pick Pyroar for the king of the stars? Aside from the reality that it would be much too obvious, Leo is clearly Mega Starmie, the star whose legs just became an internet sensation for being extremely glamorous (or terrifying, depending on your taste). Fans were captivated from the purple starfish, and that’s precisely the same vibe a Leo brings to the table. This Pokémon is also rumored to be transmitting signals from its red core out into space, and it’s just like a Leo to be putting on a show, even if for extraterrestrials.

Virgo – Mega Victreebel

The ever-prepared and constantly-worried Maiden is ideally encapsulated in Mega Victreebel, the Mega with constant digestive issues. The sign known for being charmingly judgmental is strongly reflected across this Pokémon’s whole evolutionary chain, from a always shocked expression like a Maiden when you tell them you don’t have a retirement plan, to its inverted visage that’s just like the emoji a Virgo sends to the group chat when all says they want to “be spontaneous” rather than creating a strategy.

The Scales – Mega Audino

Observe this sweet, empathetic creature, who employs the feelers on its ears to detect how people are feeling by their pulse. Consistently compassionate – occasionally to a fault – and trying to maintain the peace, there are many Scales who would likely benefit from Super Audino's abilities. Though, to be frank, it would probably just cause them to stress even more about everyone else.

Scorpio – Mega Banette

This Ghost-type is a creature with a unexpectedly sad origin: Discarded as a doll, it became sentient through sheer resentment and swore revenge on its former owner. According to the official info, Super Evolution, “enhances its vindictiveness.” That seems exactly like many discussions I’ve had with my scary Scorpio acquaintances. A Scorpio loves cosmic justice and retribution, making them the ideal pair with Mega Banette.

Sagittarius – Mega Hawlucha

Each Super Hawlucha and Archers are always putting on a performance. As a Sagittarius myself, the amount of occasions I’ve called myself some version of a “silly little jester” is innumerable. The showiest and most attention-seeking Super Form, its Pokédex entry even notes how it “flexes to display its power.” I would do the very same thing if I had a Super Form, making Super Hawlucha the most apt Archer counterpart I can think of.

The Goat – Mega Absol

Did you know that a Mega Absol has the power to predict disasters ahead of time? That gives the exact same energy as a Capricorn, who tends to always think they’re right. The thing is, similar to a visionary Super Absol, they frequently are. It’s also the very initial Mega Evolution that players encounter in Legends: Z-A – just like a Capricorn to get in on the beginning of the Super Form craze.

The Water Bearer – Mega Chandelure

Aloof air sign Water Bearer is possibly the non-fire sign that is most like a fire sign – its sister sign is the Lion, and there are numerous jokes about the Archer and Water Bearer being unpredictable accomplices. Super Chandelure's double Ghost/Fire typing matches seamlessly with this, and the Super Form's general intimidating presence is also very Aquarius. If you hadn't yet persuaded, the Mega’s description says it “draws in negative energy and transforms it into power.” If that fails to perfectly {encaps
